Which papers do I get with a Harley from America?
Before you buy, you get the damage report or Carfax of the bike. After the purchase you receive the US Title. That is the proof of ownership you need to register the bike. You also get the customs papers as proof of import. With these papers you can register the bike in your country. What a clean, salvage or rebuilt Title means is explained in our blog about the types of Title.
How do I know the mileage is right?
You never get complete certainty, but you can check a lot. A history report shows earlier odometer readings, for example at a sale or inspection. We also film every bike up close, including the odometer and the start-up. If the condition of the bike doesn’t match the mileage, you usually see it straight away.
Can I get a VIN check or Carfax?
Yes. With every bike you get the damage report or Carfax, so you see the damage history before you pay. With the VIN you can also look up the history yourself. In our blog about the VIN check and CARFAX on a Harley from America we explain what you see in it.
What happens when the container arrives in Rotterdam?
Within about 3 days the container goes to the unloading company in the Rotterdam area. That company unloads the bike, handles the customs declaration and can arrange transport to your address. Not happy after all when you collect it? Then you get your money back, including the transport costs.
Do I still get help after buying the bike?
Yes. After the purchase you can always reach us on WhatsApp. We help with questions about customs, the inspection or modifications to the bike. Looking for a specific model or year? Let us know and we’ll search for it in America.
