About this bike

What I think of it

A very clean Road King, you don’t see many like this any more.
A great, unusual colour, and it runs beautifully.
The previous owner took very good care of it, and you can see that in the video.
Everything is still original and the bike is matching numbers. The paint is good and there are no leaks.
Only point: a small tear in the seat.
Clean Title and no damage history.

About the Harley-Davidson Road King Evo (1996)

The Road King arrived in 1994 as Harley-Davidson’s stripped-down tourer: the frame and running gear of an Electra Glide, but without the big fairing. Take the windscreen off in seconds and you have a tough cruiser.

Its trademarks are the chrome headlamp nacelle, the hard saddlebags and the comfortable two-up seat, which make it good for long trips and everyday riding.

Up to 1998 the Road King had the Evolution engine: an air-cooled 1340 cc (80 cubic inch) V-twin. The Twin Cam 88 followed in 1999. Many riders choose the Evo for its simplicity and its characteristic sound.

This Road King is a 1996 model. Registration rules differ per country. In the Netherlands, bikes from 2005 or older go through a regular RDW inspection station, and we work with people there who can handle the inspection and Dutch registration for you.

Classic advantage on import: this Road King is 30 years old and still completely original, so it can be declared as a collector’s item. In the Netherlands that usually means 0% import duty and 9% VAT. This can differ per European country, and customs decides per vehicle.
