About this bike
What I think of it
A head-turning 2004 Big Dog Chopper in showroom condition, with no signs of use.
It has an S&S 107 cubic inch V-twin with a Baker 6-speed gearbox, in the Full Polished version.
The bright yellow paint with purple and green graphics runs across the tank and fenders, and the custom seat comes with a matching bag.
The odometer reads 30,000 miles.
Big Dogs are less in demand in America than Harleys, so we can buy them at a good price, and you see that in the price.

The model
About the Big Dog Chopper (2004)
Big Dog Motorcycles from Wichita, Kansas, was founded in 1994 and built "factory customs": complete motorcycles that looked like custom choppers straight from the factory. Around 25,000 were built in total. The original company closed in 2011.
The Chopper is one of the best-known models: long front end, low frame, 21-inch front wheel and a 250 mm rear tyre. The rear looks like a hardtail, but the Chopper has hidden shocks, so you get the lines of a classic chopper with more comfort.
The engine is an air-cooled S&S V-twin. S&S Cycle has been building V-twin engines and parts since 1958, and many parts are still readily available.

FAQ
Questions about this bike
Is this a Harley-Davidson?
No. Big Dog is its own American make that built complete custom motorcycles. The engine is an S&S V-twin, and many parts interchange with Harley parts or come from the same American suppliers.
Can I register this Big Dog in Europe?
Yes. Big Dog is its own make with its own US Title. You register it with your national vehicle authority. In the Netherlands, for example, a bike from 2005 or older like this one is inspected at a regular RDW station. Rules differ per country, so ask me if you are unsure.
Why is a Big Dog so well priced?
Big Dogs are less in demand in America than Harley-Davidsons, so we can buy them at a good price and pass that on.
What makes this Big Dog special?
It is in showroom condition with no signs of use, in the Full Polished version, with an S&S 107 ci and a Baker 6-speed.

See all Big Dogs for sale or send us what you are looking for on WhatsApp, and we will find one for you in America.
Does the price include shipping?
Yes. The price of $8,500 includes shipping to the port of Rotterdam.
What costs come after arrival?
After arrival you pay for unloading the container, the customs declaration, import duty and VAT. Duty and VAT depend on your country. Contact me for a calculation for this bike.
Can you deliver it outside the Netherlands?
Yes. The bike arrives in Rotterdam, and from there transport to your address in Belgium, Germany or elsewhere in Europe can be arranged. You can keep asking questions about registration via WhatsApp after the sale.
Do I get a Carfax or damage report?
Yes. You see the bike’s damage history before you pay.
Can I see the bike first?
Not in person, but I make the best video I can, so there are no surprises.
How do I pay, and is it safe?
You first receive an invoice. You then pay into the company’s US business account, not a personal account.
What if I don't like it?
If you don’t like the bike when you collect it from the shipping agent in the Netherlands, you get your money back, including the transport costs. Only the bank transfer fees are not refunded.
